The Invisible School is software that lets driving schools run their school by text message. It is operated by Charles Sustaita, a sole proprietor in Denton, Texas (“we” or “us”). This page explains what information we handle, why we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you or your driving school give us, such as your name, email address and mobile phone number.
  • School records and messages. Information a driving school enters into the service, and the messages its students, families and staff send through it, such as enrollment details, lesson schedules and attendance.
  • Payments. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Website visits. This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to count visits and see which pages are read.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: account messages, sign-in codes, scheduling and lesson updates, and replies to support questions.
  • To operate, secure and improve the service.
  • To answer you when you contact us.

We do not sell personal information.

Text messages and mobile numbers

We use your mobile number to send the text messages you agreed to receive, as described in our SMS Terms.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described on this page. We do not share that information with any third party, except the messaging provider that delivers our texts, which uses it only to deliver them.

You can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

Who we share information with

  • Your driving school. If you enroll with, or work for, a school that uses The Invisible School, that school can see your messages and the records about you.
  • Service providers that host our software, process payments and deliver messages for us, only so they can provide those services.
  • When the law requires it, or when needed to protect the safety of people or the service.

None of this sharing includes text messaging opt-in data or consent, as explained above.

Records kept by driving schools

Each driving school decides which student records it keeps in the service, and we handle those records on the school’s behalf. To see or correct a record a school keeps about you, ask your school. You can also write to us and we will help.

Students under 18

Many driving school students are under 18. Their information comes from the driving school, the student, or a parent or guardian, and we use it to provide the service, never for marketing.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@theinvisibleschool.com. A driving school may need to keep some records to meet its own legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections. No method of storing or sending information is perfectly secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
